hoboduce88
Hey everybody. I'm kind of a newbie with animation. I've been doing basic stuff for a while, but nothing really worth showing off or anything like that. I was wondering if anybody had a link or tutorial, or even knew how to do a big body of water and animate it. Thank you very much.
Crazy Homeless Guy
i don't have a link or tutorial, but maybe you can use 2 bump maps, and drag them across each other to get a moving ripple effect. you won't have waves by any means, but it might be your easiest method of imitating water. mroushdy
Hi, to make a ocean animation read in 3dmax help about space warps - geometric / deformable - wave or ripple you make a plan for water and creat a wave or ripple with space warps and animate the phase variable and link it to the water object.
