Ernest Burden III
I just emailed you one. It might need a little shortening to 'cutify' it a bit, and paint the beak orange.
Tim Nelson
Thanks Ernest - meshsmoothing problems with that one though.... Ideally this is what I would like, but beggars can't be choosers right? Too bad I am a horrible modeler. I just bought Ted Boardman's book on Max 6. The next step is to actually start reading it & doing the tutorials.
BrianKitts
instead of a duck....wouldn't it just be easier to get a model of a boat, scale it down and color it with primary colors to make it look "toyish." I know theres a few boats on 3dcafe.com in their free model section that is unless you have a client with a duck fetish.......

William Alexander
i Think That There is a rubber ducky Tutorial exercise in Rhino 3 If your intrested....... It's really just a fairly simple sub-d polygonal modeling exercise- all smoothed & nurbs/nurms subdivided cubes that are extruded (beveled), one edge loop beveled-ducks lips , and vertice bevel for the evil eye holes and a little tweeaking. You can do it C4D, Maya, Max....... but Modo rules the day for this stuff. Just waiting for a decent export script to get it into Max or C4D with Modo smoothing.
