lucho Posted February 10, 2005 Share Posted February 10, 2005 Hi: I am using now archicad v8.1 i have noticed that in 3d window settings there are two options of 3d engine: internal engine and open GL, please someone could tell me which are the differences between those engines??, really i dint noticed differences. Ace_Face Posted February 11, 2005 Share Posted February 11, 2005 It also depends on your graphics card. If your graphics card doesn't support Open GL it won't make a difference. I couldn't imagine your graphics card not supporting Open GL though. Unless it's 10 years old. the difference is huge though!!! take a large 3d file and walk around in perspective mode you'll see the difference right away...
