Hey everyone..

 

Im going barcelona next march 3, and i have to buy a new laptop..in this moment i work in vectorwors, and cinema4d, i mac or pc, i have both,...the problem is, that the director of the program that i go, send a email, telling me, they going to teach me Rhino, and 3dmax, and a couple of programs that is not on mac, and i have this problem, i dont now what plataform pick or powerbook, or pc laptop (please give me any ideas that what could be)...

The Dell XPS laptop for about 2,400 looks very good.

great...Barcelona is a very funky city, just hang around on the Ramblas okay?.

 

I just bought a Dell 9100 Inspiron Multimedia advanced with the following specs:

 

- 3.4Gz processorspeed

- 2.0Gb RAM (Dual channel, HT supported)

- 160Gb hard-disk

- 256Mb Radeon videocard (+ VGI for dual screen support)

 

A second flatpanel, Dell Genesis ultrasharp FP2001 20" with outstanding quality graphics. The complete set runs extremely smooth and fast. No complaints about it. Price was $ 2400.- for the laptop and $ 1100.- for the flatpanel. My experience is that Max 7.0 is running fantastic, also with the more intensive work like heavy renders and animation.

 

Have a Dell (XPS or 9100) both very cool to work with and don't forget to have Bluetooth installed..
