Learning Curve from ArchiCad to ADT

I've never used Archicad. However, I have attempted the ADT side of Autocad Architectural Desktop. I'm one of 3 daily production CAD guys in our office with Autocad ADT 2005. Everyone else has plain Autocad. All 3 of us (with ADT) sat through training classes, as well as doing tutorials on our own, and we all came to the conclusion that it was a TOTAL BEATING! We came away realizing how unbelievably complicated and rediculously over-programmed the ADT workflow. I mean, to change one setting, you'd have to navigate like 5 different interfaces, assuming you could remember where you had to go to make the change.

Bottom line - all 3 of us still have ADT installed, but don't use most of the features one would buy ADT for above standard Autocad.

Another downside is that even with the 3 of us "power users" if I can call myself that, we still have to be able to let the rest of the guys in our office open our files, and if they can't operate ADT, what good is it anyway?
