the white witch
pls help, i have been trying to render this interior for a presentation on friday, whenever i turn on fg i get these splothes on the walls i don't know why....
voltaire_ira
try increasing the fg radius and adding some more samples might do the trick.
mohamedberry
i'm facing the same problems... light leakage when turning FG on will try voltair's theory and post my results update: i did try it and it worked fine but took more time to render, check my post here: RESULT
the white witch
THANKS,people for the info, i will try it out tonight, but mohammed, the thought of longer render times is very scary to me, as my rendertimes at the moment are 10hrs for image sizes of1500 x730....pretty scary...at the moment my sampling ratio is 4,1/4, my photon samples is 500, with 10,000 photons per light, light energy of 0.3, decay of 1.4,fg of 25,max rad1800,min rad 1200....i don't know why i am having such high rendertimes,....do you think its because of the photometric lights... the white witch
i will try out you advice tonight, though the thought of higher render times is quite scary, already i am having rendertimes of 10hrs ... terrible, i am rendering to 1500 x 750 pixel size, sampling of 4,1/4..gi =500,10,000 photons per light, with enrgy of .3,decay of 1.3,fg of 25,...i just don't get it....maybe its the photometric lights that are upping the rendertime.....any help?
