Open up the lisp file in a text editor and it will tell you how to run it. Also, it you have stacked blocks on top of each other, it will count two (or how ever many are stacked) blocks, so you might run the overkill command if that's available to you. If you need more help with the lisp file, let me know. I'll type up a little help message.

yup, there is a way in ADT, only AutoCAD being AutoCAD it's dull as bricks, so you must go around the houses.

 

1) bring up the PROPERTIES box. either under MODIFY > PROPERTIES or CTRL+1

2) click on QUICK SELECT (that little funnel/lightning icon) which brings up the quick select sub menu

3) under OBJECT TYPE select BLOCK REFERENCE, under PROPERTIES select NAME, then under VALUE type in the name of the block you want to list. then OK.
