Your Desk and You

This might sound ridiculous, but it took me quite a while to figure out where to put the tablet, where to put all those keyboards and mice.

The most important things are:

Navigate through:

Digital illustration > The right setup - (nearly) all you need to know about hardware > look here to see how to setup your desk!

These extraordinary matte* painters guys should know about this and all!!! It is trully extraordinary how they can make dull looking pictures suddenly jump into extraordinary mythical fantastical worlds. Have a look in his matte gallery, it must take ages of painstaking concentration, something i would not have. orangecry

(*computer generated backdrops for film making can be 8000 pixels width)

I am really paronoid about the heights of things like keyboard, in relation to chair, in relation to monitor... and things like windows in relation to the screen and so on. I cannot work at all, until my place is set up so that i like it. I wasn't like this before, it is just since the heavy weight of using painting software, cad software, emails, word, cd-burning backups, .... so much together, in such tight deadlines. I would much rather lose a day, to set up my place properly than continue to work in dis-comfort.
