Bugga_Guy
OOooooh, good topic. I know the teapot was the first 3D model that was created by Martin Newell from the University of Utah in 1975. http://accad.osu.edu/~waynec/history/lesson20.html its not architecture but it has some history in the world of the 3d models. Aaron2004
My book that I have here at college, "The art of 3D computer Animation and Effects" sayst that 'Sketchpad' was made in the 1960's by MIT. It allowed users to interact with wireframe objects. That might be too far back, though Aaron

DelfoZ
http://www.hash.com/technotes/index.asp?a=d&number=15 Animator Apprentice” was the first 3D animation product of its kind to enter the market. Animator Apprentice was unique in that there was a GUI controlling voxel technology using such terms as “slice”, “visage”, and “auto-shaping line”. It was a modeler, animator, and renderer, and it ran on a 7 MHz computer with 512K of RAM! This product also included the first-time concepts of “reusable actions”, “motion libraries”, and “path animation”.
