gatino
Hi, well, at first the scene coul'd be a little more detailed (as possible as it is for your pc). Most important although, I think that it is the lighting. I don't know what lights you have used, but even though I can see that it is day outside, the actual result looks like, day outside and night inside. You could reinforce the light that comes from outside with an inside one very close to the window for example. Second, there are no shadows! See what you can do with the daylight from outside about that, otherwise make the light I told you before drop the shadows (the inside light). Play a little with the light so that it will look more lumminate close to the window. (you can use and a spotlight with a volume effect from outside the window, but i suggest it only as an extra effect after you have succeded the lumminance you want) If you used self illuminate materials, try to avoid it because it looks like a little wird. The bright colors is one problem I try to resolve myself too! If you use max 6, try mental ray renderer. I don't know if I gave you any (a little at list), help. I 'm glad if I did.
