esilvis Posted June 3, 2003 Share Posted June 3, 2003 Any thoughts on why 3d studio max 5.1 locks up, kicks me out of program gives me a physical memory dump (blue screen) then restarts computer. Seems to happening when loading materail palette, existing program, and just plain whenever. plastic Posted June 4, 2003 Share Posted June 4, 2003 try running chkdsk /f /r after reboot the harddisk will be checked for bad sectors. damaged harddisk could be another reason for crashes when opening large files... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
