bitphire
Hi, I am new to this forum for one and new to 3D modeling second. A friend of mine created a scene that takes him 30 min to render. I was wondering how we can hook multiple machine's up to speed the render process with 3D Studio Max 6. I am not for sure but is this what is called a rendering farm? Saw that while searching google. Thanks for any help. Bitphire
DennisHolland
Hi Bitphire, just hook up your computers and use your PLU (portable license utility) that comes with Max 6. It means that other computers, besides your main one, can borrow your standalone license for a limited timeframe. Good luck, Dennis _______________________________ Dennis de Priester Interactive media the Netherlands
lambros
Well, just read the help file under basic procedures for network rendering. It explains everything you need to do!
