Help with blurred reflections.

Hi everyone,

Im trying to blur a reflection on a timber floor. Ive tried putting a noise map in the raytrace channel, also had no joy with the blur parameter in 'flat mirror material. Ive tried upping the samples as well. It just seems to be really grainy. Any tips?

Using Mental Ray in 3dviz.

Thanks, Ive been playing around a bit with the DGS material since you recomended it. It seems quite logical, but i'm not sure what shader to use in which slot to acheive a blurred reflection? Bear in mind im quiute new to MR. Could you give me a couple of pointers for the settings for a DGS material?
