u have one major problem... u use ur photoshop alot, and that removes the realistic feel from ur renders, my advice: try to do everything on MAX or whatever 3D program u use. for ur rendring, i see u need to increase the FG samples or decrease the GI sample radius to lose the dark splotches. u need to work on the shadows for a while... great model though ;)

Mohd. shonak habibi,

I have tried dirt map but could not get that effect,see closeup below,I have no problems with shadows,its the edges which are crayonized which tend to give this effect,I am trying to have that effect shown in real life pics above,and yes its a bit unreal...........can you exactly imitate that effect around the edges using max...please try out and let me know......

  • 2 weeks later...

I am having problem with jpg cpmression..here's a try with jp2 format.....

just right click and save it,then change the extn. to jp2 instead of jpg.....

i am working on how to get jp2 across.... :confused::rolleyes::mad:

step1: download firefox or IE plugin for jp2 here...

http://www.morgan-multimedia.com/JPEG2000/mozilla_plugin.htm

step 2 firefox----->file-----open------*.jp2

get me??

just open the above file and the one below in different windows and see for yourself....the jpg file is 800X .... 195 kb and jp2 is 1000 x ....171 kb and see clarity....this forum cannot miss this thing????!!!!
