3dp
hi first off change that pool colour to something much lighter any pool you can't percieve the bottom of is dangerous whichever render you are using you'll need to up the samples etc whatever to get the chairs etc to cast shadows having said that the lighting just now is a little blown out looking at the paving textures you could add a couple of fallen leaves and grime to corners and edegs of walls/pave meetings i'd also look at the water bump map for me i would have something less swelly implying deeeep water think how much a drop of rain would displace - unless you just dived in of course and one last bit from me add some pool steps so someone can get out at that end of pool and it also adds detail and intrest btw what you using for plant/tree generation it's a nice image and i wish we could get away with pools like this in england
Cynthia Hansen
thanks for the suggestions! wasn't sure what was causing the no show on shadows below the chairs, so hopefully your suggestion will do it. Also will try some of the ideas for the pool. as far as the plants/trees. the plants were made by me and the trees are the aec ones from max. BrianKitts
I first looked at the image and my perception of the scale was far different from what it is. At first glance it looks like a small pool, then when you take in to account the size of the chairs you realize how big the scence really is. Is your camera set up like 12 feet in the air? My suggestion would be to lower your camera position and either back up a bit or open your camera angle. That is unless your trying to not make the scence look large and overwhelming for the area. Jaydeetee
Hi! I actually think the scene could be brighter! Especially the walls. Try to imagine the scene in bright daylight...it should (Almost) look kinda washed out! I like the colour of the swimming pool though!
