Crazy Homeless Guy
distributed render will not work in a render farm. distributed render will take the power of the computer in the render farm and rende a single image, but you can not send a frame or image out to the render farm, and use distributed render at the same time. distributed render is best used in vray to calculate the irradiance maps before the scene is sent ot he traditional render farm, or to help render a high resolution image with lots of antialiasing and reflections.
