molok
Well, hmmm, I'm not trying to make fan clubs, but we could discuss why we like certain works the most in order to point out the qualities that we think that make them "special". I believe this could be a good observation exercise that we could learn from. In my case, I like very much the "pictority?" of these two: http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=5353 http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=5413 the original composition in these: http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=5624 http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=5531 http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=4799 and the superb attention to detail in : http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=4750 These are for me the most noticeable images on this initial round. I'll stay tuned for the challenges
Tommy L
I dont like any of them. Those guys need to give up and find a new career.....
piotrgreg
Tommy L - shall u introduce us to sth more spectacular? don't u hesitate
Fran
I'm sure Tommy was just joking. It's called dry humor and it usually gets lost in translation. As for favorites, I'm just glad I'm not a judge. They can't just say "Oooooh pretty! I pick that one!" Or maybe they can...
mbr
Those are particularly nice ones! I am just happy there are so many good renderings in one spot that I can study! Many very artistic ones that I have not seen before. Great inspiration and it's nice to see so much support for the prizes. Maybe I'll go back and pick my favs...but that may just take too long! ;-)
Tommy L
Whoa! Lighten up piotgreg. Im no match for those dudes! In comparison, my renderings look like early Amstrad graphics, rather in the fashion of 'Roland in Time' or other similar Roland based games. C'mon Roland fans, back me up here, the cityscapes were pretty good.........right?
piotrgreg
oh, I it so hard to understand "english sense of humour" if u r not english speaker... but I ll improve soon, I hope... best regards to everybody
Tommy L
Yeah its tough, we english are frequently missunderstood. Just watch plenty of monty python and all will become clear. i struggled to understand both german and french humour, but once i realised that the french just arnt funny and the germans dont have a recognisable sense of humour it was a lot easier. Your polish right? Poles are very funny, go on, crack us a gag, im really bored at work today...........
Newke
...but once i realised that the french just arnt funny and the germans dont have a recognisable sense of humour it was a lot easier.. I'm agree, french arnt funny and don't have any sense of humor...

lambros
I got 50/100 myself which is not too bad... Oh, i remember those roland amstrad graphics (mode 0 i.e. 16 colors in 160x200 resolution which is not an ideal ratio as you may guess). I really liked hi-rise...
