Hi,

I am new in the domain of the 3d design; I would like to have some advices about how to choice the best software which fits to my needs. I see plenty of software running in the market, but I can not make my choice.

I need 3d pictures to show to my clients the installation of Sauna, Hammam and spa devices in their private space.

I am working actually on AutoDesk VIZ 2005 but it seems to be huge for my small needs. But I like it in I am still working on. The problem is that I need rapidly results and my level in VIZ 2005 doesn’t allow this.

My question is: which software could be good and easy enough to produce rapidly 3D picture, based on architectural plan until I get used with Viz 2005?

Thank you.

Hi there,

Viz does require a certain level of proficiency to get nice results, but it does offer nice results. Sketchup is a way round the problem, but the axiom is that there is no magic wand that models what we need at the touch of a button. Personally I would advice you to take a look at Sketchup but keep pushing viz. In reality, the rule is that there is a certain type of application that fits every individual, and that can be found only by trial and error.

Good luck!
