Chris Drake
This is an image I am creating for a client. It is obviously not finished, but I'm just checking with you guys to see if you think the perspective is OK. I had to use two photos stitched together, and as a result I couldnt match the 3D camera to the real one. My solution was to map the buildings at the sides onto planes so the perspective is in keeping with the 3D camera. What do you think?
Crazy Homeless Guy
i would edit the photos to keep the verticals straight, otherwise people will be starring at how the building is leaning back, instead of the design of the building.
Wanna_be_architect
Is the building resting on a car on the left hand side?
Chris Drake
I still need to tweak it a bit to prevent it from 'leaning', and yes it is standing on a car at the moment. I still have to edit that out. I'm still trying to decide whether to model a new road and pavement in max or to use the original photo. Any suggestions? bully712
I don't know how much time it took you splicing the photos together, and then matching the building with the perspective, but I think ( since there's not really anything left of the photo) rendering the building, then adding the existing buildings in photoshop would have been a lot easier. If there was a little more to the photos, then I would spend the time compositing the new building in. Just my opinion
Chris Drake
Its looking a bit better now. Just a few more tweaks and its there. Please feel free to comment whether its positive or negative.
evanmoses
looks much much better. I might try to clone stamp the splotches of colour on the side walk so that it is more uniform. It looks like they are going under the building and the building is floating a bit. Other than that, really good.
