William Alexander
Nothing fancy, architecturally speaking. More Like a lazy unemployed carpenter build it for himself about 50 years ago LOL. Modeled in ADT,MAX and PS for material channel maps.... The Goal is "reality".... on it's own. White ground and BG is to allow for comping in entourage, maybe as I get the urge and time. Feel free to comment & crit at will. Would like to know what the CGA community thinks about this style of Illustration. Cheers WDA
Allen
William, that is great work. I love the roof and the "used" feeling of the house. For being so non-descript it has a lot to say about the people living in it. My only comment. A kick panel on the bottom of the door - probaly out of place on a house like this :-) Great work. William Alexander
Door Kick? Artistic license?............ My favorite would be "rental Property! Thanks Wm
Tim Nelson
Looking good! Good job on making it old & messy. My only comment would be to either use more bump on the bricks or displacement so the joints are further recessed away from the face of the bricks. Right now it looks rough & old, but still on the same plane.

Your absolutely right.....#$^*..... the bump map was set (got set to) spherical mapping...ooooops. Guess I did a decent job of texturing without the bump map working?! Brian Cassil
I'm lovin this! I've had the urge to do some images like this for fun and practice myself. There are a couple of really old farm sheds near my house and I've thought that those could make cool images. I can't wait to see what this looks like when it's all done. DennisHolland
Yeah, I agree with Brian... Those things you see around you gives a great reference for some nice off-work projects. I like it, only maybe smaller bricks to make it complete? Dennis
