solefishes
hi! how did you do your grass? photoshop? check your shadows out...they all seem to look very similiar - no contrast really. i think it would look better if the direct shadows were more crisp and harsh and the fill lights could give off that soft look... keep it up!! kind regards, meghan
Brian Cassil
Looking pretty decent. All the textures look pretty good. And te overall composition is nice. Couple of things I would change: lower the camera just a little, it feels like I'm standing on my toes looking at it. Aslo level the target of the camera out to get rid of the subtle paralax. The glass is really bright. In a bright day like this scene the glass would be much darker. The bushes are too repetitive and too sparse. Keep posting! rcase
Your lawn looks like it needs mowing. More plants and shrubs around the base of the house will help, mix them up a little. You shouldn't really see the base of the house that much. Foundation planting is what we in the Landscape Architecture business call it =). Mark M
Thanks for all the c & c. Meghan, Yup I Photoshop the grass. The grass is from a flamingo material (rhino render engine). I just switched renders so now I'm exporting from rhino and rendering in max + Brazil, until the rhino Brazil plug in comes out. I will take everyone advice and re-render with the new information Thanks, Mark
DennisHolland
Hi, only a complete different glass-material, it will increase the overall quality (which is good allready). Just look at it after a couple days, you'll see things you don't see while in the middle of workin' on it.
