Arnel
Is there a way to convert viz/max object into solid? I have a reason why I need to do this.

Arnel
Yes you are right the main purpose actually is we would like to model a free form building that can be taken all through out to construction documentation stage. We will be exporting that free form solid model through dwg format then import it to Revit then Revit can convert all that into building elements i.e. walls, floors, roof, curtain wall and so on. The main problem right now for Revit import is that it can only convert an imported mass model into revit mass element if it is a solid dwg model. It can't convert a 3d face model as of now. LukeC
hmm sorry im not sure I can help as im not a revit user and no one in this office is, however i did do a very quick search on google and saw somewhere noted there was a revit plugin for viz, or viz plugin for revit (not sure which it was). Try having a look on the autodesk forums and help on the website, they can be very helpful
Arnel
I know about that plug-in and I'm using that now but that is for file linking plug-in so that you can bring your revit material into viz and use the same without having to reapply the material. That was not the one I'm looking for. Im' looking for some sort of converter from surface model into solid model.
