carlangas
Hi all, I need some comments on how to improve my images. I am using max 6 w/light tracer. I dont like how the glass looks, I didnt want to make it transparent because it would just increase the render time. its supposed to be a greenish tinted (tintex in mexico) glass. onother thing that allways gives me a hard time are white walls, I cant get a good balance of white, and a lot of the time it ends up looking gray and not white, I also lost my stucco bump while attempting to get the walls to look white. thanks for your help!! arquiteck09
the color thing can be fixed with the exposure control , try to make an image with soft light and then fix with the exposure control , i think that the reason because you don´t have enough detail in the walls is because the overbright lighting but is just an a idea....... nice design by the way
cdos00
The glazing on the first image looks GREAT. Is that a glass material of your own design? I use a ray traced transparent metal material that has some long render times but I really enjoy the end result so I am willing to suffer waiting for it. I would also like to see the wall texture a little more defined. I am not experienced enough to advise you on that item. I will watch this thread to gather some good advice. Keep it up, through a solid community net, all learn.
carlangas
I once tried the exposure control but I used it having lots of light and using the outdoor light setting. I'll try decreasing the lights intensity. that should reveal more detail, also I am using the self ilumiting feature set at 20. is that a no no? thanks for your input
