Tim Nelson
Another silly question...how would I chamfer/fillet the edges on a block of text I created & extruded? Thanks
lambros
convert to poly, select the edges and chamfer
Tim Nelson
Thanks. I couldn't figure out how to select only the front edges, so I ended up selecting the front faces & beveling them, which worked out good enough for me. I'm used to how Autocad works when dragging a selection window. One way selects anything you touch, and drag another selects only the objects that you completely cross over. I'm sure there is a similar technique in Viz, but I just don't know it.
3dp
another option is the bevel modifier and for the plugin crowd f-edge
Psychoscorpic
As regards selections, Tim, go to the Edit tab and near the bottom under Region you'll find the options for Window (fully enclosed) or Crossing (all touched) Cheers!
