MegaPixel
I'd like some tips on where I can find high quality "pre-textured" low cost models for use in Interior scenes. I've ordered from Dosch 3D and Archvision in the past but I don't think I want to use RPC's for close ups? I will be using 3D Studio MAX 7 with some form of GI (Radiosity or MR). I can handle the simpler items like Pictures, Vases, Lights, Curtains, etc. Things I'm looking for: Living Room Suite, Dining Room Suite, Bathroom Suite, Bedroom Suite and interior Plants. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have for me - Mega
Paulo Kiefe
Have you tried http://www.turbosquid.com?
MegaPixel
A sample of the quality of modeling/texturing I'm looking for is attached below. I've found very few models that live up to my expectations so far but some of the better ones can be found at: http://www.turbosquid.com http://www.exchange3d.com http://www.the3dshop.net http://www.ransomactive.com I was hoping I could save some time by purchasing some of the detailed items like couches/chairs,etc. but it's looking like I don't have alot of options other then tackling them myself. It seems as though many of the samples online are contemporary hard edged and steril styles - very difficult to find warm traditional upholstered and natural looking seating (Asking alot arnt I...) -Mega
William Alexander
Looking for something a little more traditional.....?
MegaPixel
You're getting closer WDA. That would make a fine dining room set with some fluffing up of the seats and some wood-inlay details on the table. Your work? -Mega
William Alexander
Mega, Yup my work. It's a simple Queen Ann set, cushins usally are a little flat looking- it's the period thing LOL. Over mashed the front leading edge, needs a little more uneven deforming. Well it's all from furniture reference pics and experience.... What kind of inlay, marketry or carved? Not much like this on turbosquid hey? If you'd like PM or email me, we can talk about what you need or would like and so on ....... WDA

Chad Warner
Mega- Were you successful in finding any collections? I too am in need of some suites of furniture, in a more traditional nature, and can't find anything. I was able to find individual pieces that would work, but I am hoping to be able to find a set.
