Hazdaz
I think it's worth the upgrade... Based on what? I really don't see anything that would warrant an upgrade. Looks like just another "Meh" new release from AutoDESK.
Nasheet Siddiqui
well its not a big jump...but dynamic input is good and a lots of improvement, makes it more trendy and useful. e.g. trim command you can pick using window or crossing, before you have to pick one by one....also its a lot faster...major improvement in hatching.. but yes no big reason like 2005 has sheet manager...this one doesnot break any grounds. Janzer v1.0
Go for the jump from Autocad to ADT.....ADT is light years ahead of Autocad. Walls, window, curtain walls, slabs, stairs, etc....all in 3D....why arent you there yet? I used to use autocad but have been using adt since version 3.3 and will never go back. The ease of use and speed to create elevations, sections, 3d models for export to viz for rendering make this package worth the upgrade my friend. If you want a copy I have one for ya. Just let me know and we can figure out how I can send it. If your talking about 2005 to 2006 well...i dont know, but I am going to the Autodesk conference on May 11 here in Toronto. Maybe I can let you know more after. Cheers.
