Hgarnes
Is there someone who knows how to make landscape in ADT. I have tried with the mass element tool, but it doesn´t work well.
angelo
In ADT 2005 there is a "drape" command that creates a mess over contour lines. Pretty handy tool if you have a simple site. Haven't tried it on complex sites yet. For complex sites, the terrain tool in VIZ is much more powerful. Good luck, Angelo
Hgarnes
Hi! I have tried with the drape tool, but it doesnt work at all with complex sites. I can`t figure out how it works. It creates a very strange geometry.
angelo
As I said, you probably need to use the terrain tool in the full version of Autodesk VIZ. There are other site modeling tools out there. If you want to stay in ADT/ACAD, there is a powerful site modeling plug-in called EasySite by CADeasy. Handy, but overkill if you aren't site modeling on a regular basis.
