quizzy
Hi, Anyone care to test their system? I've made VR environment with about 6.3 million polygons in total. (6.300.000 poly's) I think the minimal specs to run this VR are: P4 1.5Ghz 768MB RAM GF4 ti4200 or Radeon 9500x with 128 MB If you have the courage to test the FPS rate for me just e-mail me at: info@3idee.nl and i'll send you the login and password. protected area The reason I protect the project is because I only have 4GB of data transfer a month and the file is 60MB in size. If you would be so kindly to post the benchmark in this post, that would be great. benchmark format would be something like: processor: P4 3,06 Ghz HyperThreading=on memory: 1 GB RAM graphic: Geforce4 ti4200 w 128MB lowest FPS: 13 highest FPS: 26 directx: 8.1 If you want to run higher resolutions than 1024x768 or want to try AA just mention that in your results, but I would like you to test it at 1024x768 without AA. You need DirectX8.1 or higher Thank you all.... Jag
I ran your test. Is there somewhere that will give me a summary of the benchmark once you've initialized the program? I averaged about 20FPS throughout the test. I'm running a 3DBOXX Dual 2.4 Xeon 1GB RAM nVidia 900XGL with 128MB or RAM.
Richard McCarthy
I just ran your test, and the results are: In most outdoor scene before the Train station, it's 2 fps average. Once it got to the train station, it's 15 fps avg. So, I am suspecting that the train station itself is a quad-tree portal. My system setup is Athlon 1.8 GHz, 256mb Ram, GF4 MX card. Nice work ! I am very impressed as well. I think there could have been more optimisation but what's done is done -RM
Greg Hess
Maximum FPS 75 Minimum FPS 15 Went through all the scenes...kinda of needs some sort of script that can record the average fps. I'm going by what my eyes saw...which since I wear glasses is probably not the most accurate recording method. 3DBoxx S5i Dual 2.8B Xeon 2 Gigabytes of PC2100 DDR in a DC-DDR config Quadro 900XL Windows XP Prof, Hyperthreading Enabled. Prolly the power supply, the radeon plugs into the power supply when I installed it....mmmm interesting!!
