NOOXY
hey there i've been importing my archicad files into cinema 4d for rendering as wavefront files. the thing about wavefront is that all textures are lost but the drawings is in a clean one color enviroment and all object retain their material mapping. however when i import as a 3ds file there is so much clutter on the screen but all materials from archicad are copied accordingly and all lamps retain their light sources. is there anyway to reduce this clutter? which is the better import,,,,, obj or 3ds..can u tell me the pros & cons of each after they are imported from archicad? also can u retain ur original light source in the lamps if imported as wavefront from achicad?? if ot how do u show that bright glow in the lamps?
