juanco
Hi people, how's everyone doing?...first post here I would really appreciate any advice on how would you recomend me to render these images to optain a more realistic look. The are in working progress very probably I'll have to change them a couple of time, that's one of the reasons why I am not ussing any other render engine other than the normal 3dmax renderer...one, because of time consuming and second because sincerely I have no clear idea of how radiosity or GI works, and to use them on a fair compromise time/results...everytime I've tried any of them the results had been not very satifying.... Thats why Im asking what would it be the next step to take, to bring the images on a more dusty, chaotic... real world. Thanks you all in advance, have a good day juanco
CHE
Hi Juanco, Welcome aboard. You could use a graphic software like Photoshop to improve your images a little bit. Smoke3dstudio has some really nice lighting tutorials in his webpage. http://www.smoke3dstudio.com/tutorials.htm He has mastered the scanline render. I hope it helps. Best regards, Ernesto

CHE
Your images are good. I would soften the corners a little bit. You can do this by chamfering some edges, an inch would be enough. Keep working on Improving your lighting. Thanks for your compliments. We use 3dsmax (mental ray and radiosity).
