Chris Potts Posted April 15, 2005 Share Posted April 15, 2005 Hiya everyone, Im doing make 3D like this (see picture below) at Viz, How to simple low 3D ploy with slope retaining wall curve ? I did tired figure it out with flat spline curve wall with bump material. It seem wont work for me..That is awful sight..Do you know how to it better way... Buffalo Bills Posted April 15, 2005 Share Posted April 15, 2005 Chris, I would find a photo, take one or create one yourself and use it as a map. You are probably better off to creating a map than building the wall. When you make a map then accentuate the edges by darkening them in a little so when you apply the map and then the bump it will look more presentable. Beside how close are you going to be to the wall you are trying to create? Here is a smaple of the map I created and a sample of the wall in an image. See what you think. Good Luck! I would probably add a little more bump to the material and I would also darken it a little, looks a little bright, unless that is the color you are trying to achieve.
