Tommy L
On that small a scale its difficult to get what your after. Its all about the reflection map. Put a high contrast scene in the reflection channel as a spherical map and add a bump map or two.
Extraterroide
The first thing is: what software you use, max, maya, xsi....? The second thing is: what system of render you use? then depending on this the materials they will be of a form or of another one, we needed first that you say to us that motor and software you use, when you do it I will help you, whenever it is a motor of render of which I use. chutti
hey thanks man!! for the replies.. I use 3ds max6 i use sky light and the light tracer for my exterior scenes with the scanline renderer. if i use the lakerem.jpg (thats max's collection) for the reflection map some parts of the model looks strange from some angle. I just cant balance the reflections evenly but it looks cool on the curved models and cylinders. thanks again..
