Da_RoCk
GOODNESS!!! i can see the history of architecture before my very eyes! Im not sure of this but the choir of saint dennis was considered to be the start of the highly celebrated Gothic architecture??? was it? anyways, cant wait for the final render and for sure itwill be a good material for any academic purpose. cheers

Marko_JJ
Im texturing right now , the scene is only lit by one light right now so pay no attention to lighting... parts of the cathedral is hidden, that is why there are holes in the side . some of the windows are the same texture right now but im planning on changing it, tell me what you think so far. Tommy L
Looks good. Are you planning on sunlight coming through the stained glass? That could look awesome against the dramatic form of the arches. Looks like its got volumetrics written all over it as well.
Marko_JJ
yeh im gonna use caustics and volumic lighting... the render time is gonna be pretty intense haha but itll be cool once its done.
pablo scapi
Congrats on the job. Yesterday i have just finished a book called "the pilars of the earth" or wathever the translation would be from spanish, (my language). The author is Ken Follet, i recomend it, is about the constrution of a cathedral, and Saint Denis is the main refernece for the builder who is building in England. Just had to recomend the reading when i saw your post
