Tim Fairbanks
Here are the steps that will cause max7 to crash: 1- Display a background image in a viewport. 2- Start Rendering 3- Lock your Windows XP workstation (Ctrl+Alt+Del, Lock Workstation) 4- max7 immediately crashes. We have informed our Autodesk reseller/support of this problem, and they are working with discreet on the problem. We haven't heard from either of them whether or not a solution is in the works. For now, we have stopped displaying background images while locking our workstations. hopefully it will be patched in the future. timf
