Bar Project

This is my first project in almost a year since graduating (I took a little break). It was modeled in sketchup and rendered in Maya w/ mental ray. It is ment only to be a concept sketch not a realistic depiction. Please let me know what you think.

looks way cool! really like the design.

 

not sure if its that practical though... if you have a bar in a busy club the guests will sometimes spill their drinks on it, and probably once in a while - puke on it. so to be practical it should be fairly easy to clean, which im not sure yours is. (too many holes and stuff...) (although thats what makes it look cool....) hmm...

Thanks! As for the puke situation, the bar is actualy outside (its (hopefully;-) going to be on the roof of the Comerica Park which is the new Tigers stadium in Detroit) and is going to be consturcted with exterior rated materials so you could just power wash it if you wanted.

=) haha... hope you understand that the puking thing wasnt from personal experience... just a thought. it would really suck if you had to pick the bar apart every time you wanted to clean it...

 

but ok.. its and outside bar, so it shouldnt be a problem.

 

again, I really like the design. Maybe it would look even better with some more color?
