windows media opening format

me so happy. regardless whether you like windows media encoder or not, a large percentage of computers can play its content without installing additional software, it has great image quality, and is by far the easiest codec to use for high compression.

 

divx, great, but have you ever had to talk someone through downloading and installing software across the phone. no fun. sorenson, hate it. not really hate, it is just to frustrating. it is a poor choice for arch animation. to much movement. it kicks butt at talking heads though. real media. why bother.

 

windows media is the closest to what mpeg4 was touted to be.
