Poco
Hi all, I am a bit nervous showing it to your critic eyes, but here goes. The thing that bothers me the most about this kitchen is that I find it kinda boring. I can't change anything color wise since that is what the client has chosen but I would like to give it some more "life". As you can see I have already added some props but I am still not satisfied. I could use some tips from you guys. Thanks PS: All general C&C is of course appreciated. DAN212222
Its a very nice kitchen. good design and modelling but it seams to be floating maybe pull away a little so we can some more the surrounding enviroment, and as the deisgn of the units its so uniform having a random layout for your other objects, but yeah very nice good render and good design dan
IC
What about adding a direct light source. That should add some life, especially to the floor.
enigma
I suggest chamfering the edges a bit to give justice to the scene's realism...good job though!
Poco
@ DAN I'll play a bit with the camera, good suggestion, thanks. @ IC I understand what you are saying but the problem is that I cant get any direct light to it because it is supposed to be a "real" light setup (noon at the 21st of june). The left of the picture is the north side, so no direct light there. This is the picture of the whole house: http://www.art-at-large.be/images/House_x800.jpg @ Enigma All the edges are chamfered or rounded, maybe they could use more. Thanks for the replies
mskin
I think illumination is the key. Doesn't really seam to have the direct task lighting that a master chef would require. I would also loose the toaster and replace with maybe a butcher block, knives and vegetables ... or something to gesture some activity as if some one momentarily walked away from the counter. The scene looks like someone has cleaned up the kitchen and is shutting the lights off for the night, give it some more life.
