BobM
Was always likely after they bought Revit but I understand that ADT is still out selling the other, so who knows
Sawyer
This has been a rumor I have been hearing for a long time. No one is really confirming it either way. I have heard talk that autodesk is going to strip Revit add all the good features into ADT and let Revit die. Years ago everyone was saying that Viz was going to be dropped and all the features added to Max. I bought my seat of Max off that rumor info and viz is still around. I love Max & I am happy I have it but I would not have bought it if I hadn't heard that 4 some years ago. I really wonder if Autodesk doesn't create these rumors to stir things up a bit. salisu
I think Autodesk is being economical with the truth, don't u think so?
Scott Davis
This has been a rumor I have been hearing for a long time. No one is really confirming it either way. I have heard talk that autodesk is going to strip Revit add all the good features into ADT and let Revit die. This will never happen. The AutoCAD platform that ADT is built upon cannot handle some of the features that Revit has.
Crazy Homeless Guy
Autodesk is an ambigous, messed up company that has market share control, but lets the users know very little about what its actual plans are. They will milk each program for all it is worth. If they can get more market share with both ADT and Revit, and still make a good profit, then they will keep both. I wouldn't sweat it.
