dazz_downunder
Hi all, Have been trying a few differant ways of getting the glass in the windows to look a little more realistic. In this sample I have turned the transparancy down to about 4 and reflection up to about 80. Also added a noise shader using wavy turbulance in the bump channel. Set the global at about 1000 and octaves at 5. C & C is received with open arms. Any tips welcomed. thanks
IC
I think the scene you have there doesn't really lend itself to realistic glass. You need an environment for the glass to reflect and it really helps if you can see a bit of what's inside the house. Also, your bump settings may be just a bit too much.
