doujay888
Here are two images showing a Vray rendering with photon map and direct computation. However i'm still facing the same problem if you watch the images closely. The direct comp render has an orange shades output and same as to with the photon map only thing is it's blotchy. I have attached as well the settings. Any suggestions on this? PLease. Im submitting this by tommorow. HELP!
bokkins
hello, I'm new in vray also, and I encounterd the same problem, what I did is I lowered the value of secondary bounce and actually all bounces and didn't use photons settings anymore. In that way, I was able to lessen the bleeding. red is a very strong color, it will really bleed. hope I was able to help you.

infarq
hi there is a simple trick that you could try.. if you calculate irradiance map or light mapping (if you don't have glossy refelections traced with light map) with an override material made of a standard 200white colour material, you don't have any bleed at all after this you disable the override material option and render again with the irradiance and light mapping loaded from files ( that don't have bleed at all) you will have a perfect look another option is creating another set of materials with desaturated textures and calculate imap+lightmaps and going back to render with the original set of texture note:: in lightscape we had a simple parameter to reduce the bleed efect
ecastillor
You can control the amount of bleeding by object, not material, in the the slot renderer, system, object settings.....
salf
to reduce or increase the bleeding of any object: In the RENDERER window, go to VRAY SYSTEM tab, OBJECT SETTINGS, and increase/decrease the amount of GI of that particular object.
Crazy Homeless Guy
..you might also be able to control the color bleed by increasing your clr threshold to 0.5. for the splotches try increasing your interp. threshold from 20 to 30. not sure either of these will answer your problem, but they are worht trying.
