ecastillor
I usually use the same settings for all exteriors...(GI, sub divs, antialiasing, etc)...is there a way to save this settings in VRAY and not havo to go through that process every new project? Ismael
Start Max or Viz, whichever you have. Select Vray and set settings as you like. Save as MaxStart.max or VizStart.max, whichever. Ismael
ecastillor
Thank You Isamel...I guess that was one of those things in which the simplest thing is the solution....so simple that it passes you by... Thanx again
Richard McCarthy
Or you could use "render preset" to save the rendering setting. (I don't think it works with MAX5, it only works on MAX6/MAX7) Goto Rendering panel -> setup all your rendering settings -> Goto render preset drop down list -> Save Render preset From there on, the most use Render presets will be in those drop down list, so you can have several rendering setting at the click of a button (eg. VRay Preview, VRay Fast, VRay Slow but good, VRay Ultra slow...etc etc)
BrianKitts
Thx for the tip Richard, I've wondered about presets before but never looked for a solution..... I've been using MAX since release 2, and not once had I ever touched that rollout to see what it was...... I'll sure be using that one from now on!
