arvind
hi guys, im currently doing a couple of panoramic renderings of interiors. i need to know if the standard camera settings will work without distorting the final images too much. the camera has been positioned in one corner of a 15' x 15' feet room. if i need to touch up the final image how do i do that if the output is in QVTR format? thanks in advance. regards, arvind. tvc15
Are you using Max or VIZ? You can use the built in Panorama Exporter. There is also a nice 3dsMax script called cubicVR at: http://plugins.angstraum.at/ Each of these will let you save to a file you can touchup. The Panorama Exporter saves as a single cylindrical image while the cubicVR saves six images that you put together with the included GoCubic program. Or you can use the GoCubic program with any 3D program, just create a camera with a 90 degree FOV and pivot and render the camera 90 degrees in every direction for your six images. Hope that helps.
