I'm desperate to get a copy of this book, the release completely by-passed me last year and now I can't find a copy anywhere. Can anyone help me in finding one, or knows someone selling one?

It was a one-off run of books, you'll have to find someone willing to sell you a copy I'm afraid.

...and then in a few months you'll probably get the pdf version for next to nothing.

 

Happened with "VRay, the Complete guide". Initially there wasn't going to be a pdf version, and then just when I bought it, magically you could buy the pdf for a fraction of the cost. Was a good investment either way
