Backburner Problems

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone! I am posting on cgarchitect first time.

I am using max 2014.

I wanted to use backburner for my walkthrough animation. But when I submitted the job, following error occured and it didn't take the job.

error: "error submitting job to manager

I/O error transferring 'New job'"

This error is coming on a my particular 1 file. Backburner is not giving any problem with my other files.

Can anybody please help me?

3 things with backburner

1. Make sure you are running manager/server/monitor as administrator

2. make sure you have the latest version downloaded from the autodesk website - eg. 3ds max 2016 backburner broken out of the box, update fixed all problems.

3. Make sure you are sending a 2016 job to a 2016 manager, not a mismatch version

Hello!

I work on max 2014. The problem is, while submitting the job, if "include maps" is unchecked, then it gives no problem. It renders well. But if it is checked, then only it gives the error mentioned above. Is this problem related to paths? In this file I have precalculated IR and Light Cache.

Another thing, if I render my other projects with BB, it works smoothly with no error. (With no pre calculated IR and Light Cache)
