  1. HI Jeremy, Sorry I could not see your post, hope the issue has sorted as I can see Tom's post is pretty much helpful.
  2. Dear All, We are getting this strange issue with our 3Dsmax - our network paths are automatically changing to some network drive. They should be here always - C:\Users\pcname\Documents\3dsMaxDesign but as we do open file it changes to some network drive path for which I have attached image. Due to this path change - we aren't able to do animation rendering because after rendering 1 frame the rendering automatically stops proceeding. Strange issue.
  3. If you can share your max file with us ? Let me see will get back if I manage to sort out on this.
  4. Other than everything mentioned by Francisco - I would recommend updating the service pack once. It happened with us while using Max2015, and updating the service pack sorted the issue.
  5. Francisco has a good point here - Adding glow whether in the post or inbuilt bloom will do the trick.
  6. Hello All Beautiful people, First of all - I am always grateful to be in this very lovely family which do all the efforts to keep this community alive I recently came to know with 2-3 queries of such quick animations which I also see bit helpful for clients to impress their clients. Although I know renderings have some different purpose but this is something will look bit gaudy and impressive. Link is - https://in.pinterest.com/pin/411516484702533840/?nic_v1=1aUFpLUkwTIuCEAEJO01Zs6gIciyJ%2BzdCs7q8cYCvdVQBgCZXIFIq9LZEPww4J%2FrDD As far as I know, if we do it with some traditional animation method in 3DsMax by animating the scale-rotate and move then it will take lot of time and cost. What I feel is some other method is used here for quick results - any tips on how actually people are managing to do this in a quick and efficient way?
  7. I will definitely try this - will get back once we reach the rendering stage. For now, we are placing the cameras.
  8. Thanks, Scott for this very helpful info, The Hose is really working out for us
  9. Hi James, Can you elaborate the first point in technical details in following points :- 1. How we can show this white background in all animation ? Do we need to render frames in OPENEXR and add only white background in post work ? 2. The animation is very smooth flicker less with GI corruptions? How can we achieve this ? Which method is best to use ? Do we need GPU rendering for this ? Do we need to use Brute Force for this for clear GI Calculations ? 3. How can we do such animation which links to each other - like at 1:02 Sec when I device stacks out from the main unit then the wires follows the stretch like its happening in real. Do we need to do all these animations manually or is there any way to do it inter linked which can save our time ? 4. Some artists are saying it can be done in Solidworks plus with the combination of Keyshot - do you have any idea of that ? or 3Dmax and Vray has enough potential for that ? Which would be easy and more convenient way to do ? Sorry I am asking bit detailed info's but need to judge the project accordingly. I would be very thankful to you for all the time you are giving for reverts Thanks , Akshay A.
  10. Dear All, How's everybody? Well, I need a few tips on how we can achieve this animation result, I am attaching the link of samples and listing requirements below:- Link of samples:- I actually wanted to know inputs on these points:- 1. Which 3D software is best to do all these animations flicker less, considering we are into architecture visualization using Vray and 3Ds max majorly. 2. We have 3d model provided from the vendor - for animations which is the best way to do - if I get in-depth info that would be very helpful. 3. Which is the best software to do post work further? We are WINDOWS users as of now and using After effects/premier for edits. Thanks and let me know if any further info required. Regards, Akshay A.
  11. It all depends on your potential - How sincerely you are taking your career and how dedicated you are towards your goals. It will take around 3-4 months after you are LIVE with some beautiful work in this world. The process behind is learning software, Observing the artist's eye, Maintaining libraries for quick shots, and YES most important creating a Industry standard portfolio which will stand you out. It's all up to you how much this behind the scenes will take. Thanks, Akshay Arora
  12. I am little satisfied that you also need to redevelop the models in 3dsmax otherwise I was in a dilemma that we are only visualizers left which are doing this
  13. This can be mesh issue also - check if there might be double mesh there. Also, as Francisco mentioned try using USE CAMERA PATH in both bounces while doing GI Computation.
