  1. Thank you for your reply. Actually i do want a little it reflection of glass. I have tried to up the subdiv which I don't know if that is samples you talked about, but the final result didn't change too much. Apart from that, I am using vray light for rendering, so i can not manipulate it targeted object. Can you tell me how to set up a light that only affect one object, because i can not find it on edit light menu.
  2. thank you, I tried to turn down hightlight multiplier, it doesn't work. And I reduced the frenel reflection color, it didn't work, either. Then I tried turn off trace reflections it seems to work out, however, the reflection color from the glass is totally peeled off, don't know if there is any other way to solve this.
  3. anyone can tell me how to solve the white blotch on the stairs. is this because the wood material has too high reflection
  4. The black blurring floor panel is what i was talking about. and i was trying indirect illuminition. I wanna know if i need to turn off GI and BG, or still select textsky without sunlight, the following pic is what i got as i turn on GI TEXTSKY without sunlight I also rendered artificial light using rectangular light, AND it looks very rough how could i change it.
  5. sorry for the confusion, i mean the affect background menu. besides that, how can i manipulate the color mapping to avoid the bleaching, or you mean i can do it in photoshop. thank you
  6. thank you for information, I have tried what you said and it became much better, but there are still some blurring in the area, i tried to up the dark multiplier and it didn't seem to work well. Background color is changed by ticking off the background affect, the only thing i wanna know what does this menu mean? Thanks a lot
  7. I was trying to rendering section in sketchup, however some areas seems to bleach out and although i changed sketchup background into white, the background color turned out to be grey blue anyway. Anyone knows how to solve the problems.
  8. I was trying to get a clay rendering of my model, but it always turned out to be blue. Anyone knows what is going on?
  9. anyone can help me with the problem. i give material to a surface in rhino, however, when i render the back side of the surface, the surface doesn't show anymore(it is a glass material surface). i don't know why.
  10. this is what i got, outer glass is foggy glass inside is brick wall, and it still appears, and the distance between the two wall is about 5"
  11. thx, i am doing it with light in vray works, but within natural sketchup sunlight it seems useless, so i still need work in ps
  12. you may share some pics of the problems, but I think you also can try to delete them in sketchup
  13. It works, with the material only has refraction and put the glossiness down to 0.8 without any difficulties to make the appearance of foggy glass.
