  1. If you are registered in an academic architecture program, and can show me proof of registration, you can have any of the models or Realflow Scenes at Expandingwave.com for free. We spend a lot of effort on photo-realistic plants. Shouldn't your water fountains and pools be photo-realistic, too! Expandingwave.com is a specialist provider of fountains, pools, waterfalls and other liquid forms for arch viz, scientific illustration and the advert trade. Realflow scenes are widely used for arch viz walkthroughs. Expandingwave provides these, but also has a large variety of static mesh models for arch viz renderings. Students need to provide a *.jpg or *.pdf copy proof of their academic registration in an email to forester@mountainflight.us. They will be given a "key coupon" to use that allows them to download up to six mesh models or Realflow scenes from Expandingwave, per semester at no charge.
  2. Hi all, I've posted a quick tutorial on Realflow here www.jamesshaw.co.nz/blog/?p=1083 if anyone needs a quick way of creating waterfalls and/ or fountains. It's pretty basic, but should give you enough scope to have basic control over how the water shapes and importing/ exporting from 3DSMax. Enjoy!
