This is our latest in-house work, an entire FIA regulation legal racetrack project, designed and rendered by This Is 3D (yes we are F1 fans) We used a location around our hometown in Setúbal, Portugal. Workflow: Autocad, Sketchup, Max (with Mental Ray, without GI or Final Gather), Photoshop and AE. If you want to see the images in the original resolution - 1980x1080px, check our site! (www.thisis3d.com) Some stats for race fans - track lenght: 5.070 m2 - track width: 12,5 meters (15 meters in the main straight) - corners: 16 (10 to right & 6 to left) - aprox. 65.000 seats - paddock area: 78.100m2 / media centre area: 1.000m2 / medical centre area: 540m2 - pit building: 20.380m2 (garages & vip 1 = 10.190m2 each) - garages: 50 plus 5 reserved for FIA - vip building: 5.800m2 - hotel, sport & housing complex and a factory/technological complex Surroundigs: - two high-roads (A2 & A12) & Lisbon International airport and Setúbal harbor complex Hope you like it, C&C is always welcome.
