  1. As a beginner, I'm finding that when I get into small spaces (e.g., a narrow hallway), I have trouble navigating and manipulating items in the viewport. I've played with wireframe mode, as well as enabling options like see-through, as well as hiding unnecessary elements as much as possible (e.g., the ceiling), but I still encounter times when things like certain sections of the walls get in the way. Is there a way to split/slice the scene, so that I can focus on just one part of the scene? I've played with the Slice modifier, but that doesn't seem to work well if I want to continue working in Edit Poly mode at the same time, if that makes any sense. I suppose I could separate the objects I'm working on, e.g., split off sections of the wall as separate objects and hide them accordingly, but that seems like overkill. An effect like Slice across the entire scene, so that I can rotate/remove top/bottom temporarily, would seem ideal. Any advice or suggestions?
