AdamT
have I finally been banned? This morning it didn't remember my nick/pword, but it accepted them when I typed them in. Now it doesn't remember my nick or pword but and it won't accept them.
Ernest Burden III
I just posted something, so the forum is functioning (in a clinical sense). I have had it drop my log-in a few times in the past, but it always worked when I typed it in. You may have won the death pool! But try again later. Maximus3D
You're not the only one, max3d on the forum can't login either. He got the same problem as you do. We're trying to find out what happend. I let you know if i get any news about this if it's just a forum problem or if the mods went triggerhappy.. i certainly hope not! / Max
AdamT
Seems I'm still alive. For some reason the forum lost my old password, but it allowed me to create a new one, which is working.
Maximus3D
I think it was some kinda temporary forum issue. the problem seems to be solved now anyways phew! i was afraid you and max3d got banned, then i would have gone on a rampage (which i almost did now). / Max
Fran
I had the same problem. I deleted my cookies and restarted IE. That solved it. I don't know if Opera was having the same problem, I'm on my kitchen computer and it only has IE.

Max3D
Problem repeated itself today. Every once in a while I have to login again. Like I stated on NL forum, it seems related to the fact that you can't read anything but the announcements area without login. I'm sure that's a new (and stupid) policy.
Fran
Max, it's not a new policy. Guests can only read the announcement section, and that is how it has always been. There are three levels of access over there - Guests, Registered Forum Members, and VIP Members (licensed Maxwell users only). In order to read all the forums, you have always had to be a registered member. In order to post, you have to be a licensed user.
Max3D
Thanks for explaining this Fran. It maybe stupid but I never realized that there were actually three groups. I thought registration meant paying after the introduction of the VIP status.

Fran
Nicolas, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but posting your login information was wrong in so many ways. You're not simply giving away something you own - you're exposing the Maxwell.com forum to all manner of trolls. I hope I got here in time to stem the tide. Consider yourself warned. Anyone who posts information that allows unauthorized users to access anything they shouldn't will be corrected and possibly banned.
AdamT
As a side note, it's really annoying to anyone over 20 to have to read a whole post filled with internet contractions. U know what I mean?
Devin Johnston
Yes, it's very easy to have your word processor check your text before you submit it, and for all of those which English isn't your first language, please take a little time and slow down while you are typing. Ernest Burden III
As a side note, it's really annoying to anyone over 20 to have to read a whole post filled with internet contractions. I've given up on that one. Whenever I decry the assault on the King's English, my teacher wife reminds me that a language is a constantly evolving creature. Heaven help us. Or I suppose, in some cases for all those for whom it is, as well. I guess. Sorry Devin, I just couldn't help myself there. I mean you just put it out there, and left it dangling ...........
